This page exists because i kept looking for one for Columbia, MO… after watching the Wall St occupation for days and days… but no page existed still…. so i kept checking… and still no page was here
i realised that anyone could start… so why not me? i dont have experience organising anything, but who really does when they first start. build it and they will come i suppose.
did the protestors against vietnam have organisational skills? did the colonists when they fought against britain have them? no… thhey saw something needed to be done and they did it

general electric paid zero in taxes last year but took tax cuts
the IMF is asking its sponsoring nations for a bailout now
the oil companies have poisoned your land and your water and your air and record record profits for murdering you every year
corporations are considered people in the united states
its time to have them arrested
they are the 1% in this country
we are the other 99%

and remember not a single arrest for videotaping police in the united states has ever led to a sucessful conviction because despite what the cops tell you it is NOT against the law to video tape them in the process of then fulfilling their public duties… every single case has been thrown out of court

an open letter to our government, and those who think of Anonymous as nothing but criminals and terrorists….yes, they remind me of another group that resorted to terrorism, violence, vandalism, murder, blowing things up even… they ended up founding the united states of america.
our founding fathers were considered extrememly dangerous, vandals, criminals, anti-government dissenters, subversives, anarchists, terrorists, were commiting acts of high treason in the eyes of the british crown
they fought against an oppresive government that stole their liberties, illegally incarcerated them, took their land, refused representation in government, refused them the right to speak even….. much like our own current government is doing now.
if the founding fathers were alive today, they woudl have revolted against our government if not a few decades ago, then certainly in late 2001 with the passing of the ironically named patriot act.

perhaps you are of the likeminded belief of the other sheep in late 2001 that if you arent a criminal or a terrorist then you dont have anything to worry about. perhaps yu welcome the cameras on every street corner… or facial recognition software that is not only on those very same cameras… but has crossed over oonto the internet so that the government can track your activities online. fyi… the patrio act allows this with no warrant. same with phone taps, same with tracking your cel phone with a stingray, same with searching your home without telling you.

the british government did this, hitler did this, mousalini did this, hussein did this, kaddafi did this. do you really think that jsut because you can choose from 114 different brands of deodorant or shampoo or sodas that this isnt happening to you too? does having more than 3 television channels really make you feel safe and secure? are you going to be the person sitting there as they drag away the gays, and the jews, and the elderly and the crippled, and the blacks and the left handed people… because you arent any of them?
